Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava is a highly respected dental professional with extensive expertise in advanced cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and endodontics (root canal treatments). He graduated from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000 and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in 2003. A firm believer in minimally invasive dentistry, Dr. Srivastava focuses on achieving optimal dental health with minimal damage to the natural teeth, prioritizing painless dental procedures for patient comfort.
Currently, Dr. Srivastava is serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at the Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental & Medical Sciences. He has previously held teaching positions as an Assistant Professor at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, and has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Railway Hospital, Aishbagh, Lucknow. Dr. Srivastava is an active contributor to the dental community and serves as the Head of the Dental Council of Uttar Pradesh, as well as the President of the Indian Dental Association (IDA), Lucknow. He is also an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics (IACDE).
His main areas of research interest include Regenerative Endodontics, Guided Endodontics, and Esthetic Dentistry, where he has published over 35 papers in reputable national and international journals. Dr. Srivastava has also contributed to several chapters and authored more than 10 books on topics such as Endodontic Surgery, Endodontic Flare-Ups, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, and Smile Design. In addition to his research, Dr. Srivastava has supervised nearly 25 research works during his 20 years of postgraduate teaching. Over the years, he has conducted numerous guest lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on courses at national and international platforms, and has been training both graduate and postgraduate students for over 15 years in various dental procedures.
Dr. Srivastava has undergone professional training in implant surgeries through the Professional Implant Training of AIC and holds a Diploma in Laser Dentistry from the Academy of Laser Dentistry, India. His commitment to continuing education and professional development has made him a sought-after mentor and lecturer.
